I am a passionate and neuro-affirming psychologist who works with adults seeking support with the stressors and transitions of modern life. I am passionate about providing a space for sensitive, high achieving and high masking women to pause, reflect and feel seen. Reaching out to a psychologist is a big step and a great act of self-care. Well done on being here.
With a qualifications and experience in mental health and organisational psychology, my skillset connects therapeutic care with coaching, workplace and career support. I’ve supported women to step into leadership and new challenges, sat with workers facing the hardest of setbacks and barriers, held space for individuals and families to grow whilst experiencing chronic and complex mental health conditions. As a mother of two, I also bring my own lived experience with family neurodivergence and appreciate the highs and lows of parenting when we are all wired differently.
What is Therapy with me like?
I provide a relaxed, warm and welcoming space, inviting curiosity and connection. I can support you to navigate life with compassion for yourself and others. My goal is to help you feel at ease, even when the work we do together might be uncomfortable. I hope you walk away feeling lighter; having been able to share some of the emotion and heaviness in a safe space with someone who gets it.
I know the importance of meeting you where you are at. I pride myself on being client-centred and strengths based in all of my work. I believe that you are the expert in your own life, yet we all just need a little extra space and guidance to enhance our wellbeing at times.
What can I help with?
Whether you need support with anxiety, stress, burnout, overwhelm, motivation, goals, your workplace or career - I am here to help you feel unstuck and collaborate with you on a path forward aligned with your own values, time, energy and purpose.
As a millennial parent, I understand what it is like to juggle the complexities and contradictions of motherhood today. The physical, emotional and hormonal changes; the overstimulation and under stimulation; the career and identity shifts; the mental load…the list goes on. I can help you to unpack these dynamics and find small, workable ways to ease the pressure and isolation that is all too common, so you don’t have to do it alone.
How do I work?
I draw on evidence-based therapies and frameworks including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, compassion-focused and Positive Psychology. My style combines empathy, flexibility, reflection and coaching to personalise my approach and provide you with the support that is right for you, right now.
Who am I outside of work?
When I’m not in clinic, I am spending time playing with and supporting my two young children. I am finding ways to carve out time for myself, which normally involves a quiet coffee alone, a walk in nature and a podcast with my current special interest. When I think about who I am at the core - I love yoga, the beach, learning and being creative – so I am continuously trying to find my way back into alignment with these personal joys and myself.
